Badge Lanyards
how can i custom design only one lanyard?
my school has just started making students wear I.D. badges. They gave us small ugly lanyards, and most people are trying to get new ones. Does anyone know of a way, or a website that you can custom make a lanyard only one at a time. Is there some kind of iron on application i could get. my friends and i really want twilight themed ones, that are custom with our names and our favorite quotes and things…
i have looked at pretty much every website i could find, but they require a minimum order of at least 25. How can i get only one?

You could buy nice ribbon and back it with interfacing to make it stiffer. Or buy pretty webbing, that’s all a lanyard is anyway. Then make your own lanyard. Craft stores have all the supplies.
You can also buy a plain lanyard already made and paint on it with fabric paint. Use a toothpick because you have to paint each row of stitching, one row at a time. Do your design on paper first, then with colored pencil on the lanyard, so you can erase and adjust before you paint.
