How should I launder my diapers??

We recommend a cold rinse to remove anything left behind in the diaper.  After the cold rinse cycle, we recommend you wash on hot with approximately 3 tablespoons of laundry soap followed by a cold rinse.  Our fabric detergent of choice is Purex Free & Clear.

Removing Urine Smell:

Include baking soda when washing or soaking your cloth diapers.  If you use baking soda in the wash or soak, make sure you use vinegar in the rinse.  This will help restore the pH of the cloth diapers.  Otherwise your baby could end up with a diaper rash.

Vinegar in the Wash:

Many parents have complained that using vinegar in the wash leaves their diapers remaining smelly.  Actually it is more effective to use baking soda in the wash and add to the rinse.
